Chicken legs fry

About the recipe:

I m back after a long time with a new recipe of Chicken legs fry. Origin of this recipe is an attempt to add a new cuisine in the menu of my kitchen. It has the simple ready to use ingredients from one's kitchen self. It tastes awesome :p.  I have added the below listed ingredients only , one may add their own spice powders also and adjust the measurements according to the taste. I have prepared notes on this recipe too and shared it below.

Twist:
  1.  Curry leaves have many health benefits as we know and adding them to this recipe tasted more delicious .
  2. Using Yogurt instead of egg .
Marination: at least 45 mins to 1 hour /3 hrs, Cooking time: 45 mins
Serves 4-5 persons
Ingredient
  1. 4-5 chicken legsa
  2. 1 tsp ginger-garlic-paste
  3. 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  4. 3/4 tsp black pepper pwd
  5. large pinch turmeric pwd
  6. large pinch cumin pwd
  7. large pinch of  jeera-methi pwd
  8. 2 1/2 tbsps  yogurtc (home made or hastun)
  9. Flour: Maida/All purpose atta - 2 tbsp ; Corn flour -1 to 2 tbsp 
  10. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  11. salt to taste
  12. Curry leaves -chopped finelyd.
  13.  oil to fry.
Method:
      (1)Marinationb:
  • Take a bowl and add ingredients from point # 2 to 7 as listed above and salt to taste, chopped curry leavesd. Add curd c, mix well to make a paste.
  • Dip the chicken legs  and allow the paste to stick on them .
  • Now add the flour as in  point #9.
  • Add the lime juice.
  • Mix well and complete the marinationb.
    (2) Frying in the oil pan  and use cooking tissues to  drain them.
    (3)Please do refer the notes for further clarification.
    (4)Serve and enjoy the taste, along family.

Notes:

          a. For Chicken legs - make slits with knife on the both sides of fleshy area. I prefer to remove the skin to avoid the spluttering and  to have fearless control on frying them in oil.
          b.Marination: I didn't refrigerate it just made the mixture and left it in the kitchen for 45 mins or more.But usually marinating chicken should be more as 3 hours or minimum 45 -60 minutes.
        c.Yogurt: I used home made which was slightly sour and also tried ha-stun curd both has same impact in making a paste.
      d.Curry leaves: Use small sized or chopped the  bigger leaves finely. I tried keeping the leaf  on each and every side of leg piece.It looked great and added new flavor to the recipe.
Suggestions:One can add  an extra pinch of  own choice of spice powders or powders like coriander, garam masala to the above listed ingredients.Do try this recipe.
