Drumstick and Mutton Bone Curry

               Drumstick and Mutton Bone Curry  is also a South Indian recipe which is easy to cook.
               In hindi drumstick  is known as Saijan ki Sabzi and in tamil  its Murungakkai  and recipe known                    as  Murungakkai   mutton kuzhambu. Every one has their own twist in the recipes,the recipe 
               here is what my Mother cooks at home.The ingredients are totally perfect  and comes out so                        tasty. 

               Best to serve with rice along Tomato-Onion Chutney or Rasam , Idly or Dosa.
            
              Servings:4 ;Cooking Time:15 mins 

        Ingredients:
  • Drumstick: 4 (Large), 
  • Onion: 1 Large
  • Tomato:2 Medium
  • Coconut paste:2-3 tbsp
  • Ginger-garlic paste:1/4 tsp
  • Mutton:150 g
  • Oil-2-3 tbsp
  • Water
        Powders:
  • Red Chilly powder-1/2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste. 
           Preparation:
  • Chop tomatoes and onion  finely and coriander.
  • Cut  drumstick  into 1 1/2 inches.
           Method:
  • Heat oil in the pan , add chopped onion and saute until it turns brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste to it and stir.
  • Add tomatoes and saute till it becomes soft.
  • Add coconut paste into the pan and fry.
  • Add all the powders to it.
  • Add mutton and saute for few secs.
  • Add water to the pan and close the lid.
  • Cook for 4 to 5 whistles till well done.
  • Now add the drumsticks along some water.
  • Allow to cook till the drumstick becomes transparent. 
  • Garnish with chopped coriander.
  • Serve super hot with rice, Idlly or Dosa .Enjoy...:-p
